Spiritual Emphasis Week with the Theme “Whole and Holy”

August 13–15, 2025 — Union School International (USI) launched the school year with its annual Spiritual Emphasis Week, held from August 13 to 15. With the theme “Whole and Holy,” inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:23 and Matthew 22:37, the 3-day event focused on nurturing students’ spiritual growth by learning to love God with their heart, mind, and soul.

Each day centered on a specific theme. Day 1 (Heart) encouraged students to love God through emotions and relationships, featuring devotionals, games, and a role-play activity. Day 2 (Mind) emphasized renewing the mind through a mental health talk, first aid training, and a journaling session on surrendering thoughts to God. Day 3 (Soul) highlighted spiritual identity, creative reflection, and personal commitments through student sharing and letter-writing to God.

The mornings began with worshipful Zumba sessions and meaningful devotionals led by USI teachers. Group activities like “Heart Builders,” “Faith Goals Board,” and “Word Drill” offered students opportunities to reflect, connect, and grow in their faith.

Spiritual Emphasis Week closed with a photo session and token distribution to celebrate the students’ participation and commitment. USI continues to prioritize holistic development, helping students grow not only academically but also in their personal walk with God.
